The city is set to host the first-ever Local Gastronomy Festival on January 15, 2026, celebrating the region’s diverse culinary offerings. The event will take place at Central Park from 10 AM to 6 PM, showcasing local chefs and restaurants.
The festival aims to promote local food culture and support small businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample dishes, attend cooking demonstrations, and participate in discussions about sustainable food practices. Organizers expect a turnout of over 5,000 residents and visitors.
The City Council has partnered with the Local Food Coalition to organize the festival. Local businesses will also contribute by setting up food stalls, featuring seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes unique to the area.
This initiative follows last year’s successful Farmers Market, where local vendors saw a significant increase in visitors. The gastronomy festival is expected to further highlight the community’s commitment to supporting local agriculture and culinary arts.
Residents interested in attending can learn more by visiting the City’s official website. Early registration is encouraged due to limited capacity.
